Summer Camps
We run small outdoor camp programs with a maximum of 10 campers - making sure your “Wild Child” has the best experience with their peers and camp leads while safely enjoying our parks.
Aftercare Programs
We pick up from Sequoia Elementary School and walk to Dimond Park for outdoor play time, nature learning, and activities.

What is Wild Child Nature School?
At our core, we believe that fostering a deep connection with nature is fundamental to a child's well-being and development. Our approach is inspired by the nature-based models of European and emerging American forest preschools.

Nature as the classroom
Immerse your child in the wonders of nature within Oakland and the Bay Area's stunning parks.
Our play-based curriculum, tailored for ages 4-9, fosters sensory development, creativity, and coordination through hands-on ecology lessons, hiking, fort building, creative arts, and ample free play time.
