WCNS Health Policies and Covid-19 update - please read.

Covid-19 Update

We are currently operating under modified conditions as directed by state and local
authorities. If anyone in your household has had any sign or symptom of or tested positive for COVID-19 (or there have been known contacts), DO NOT have your child/children come until the appropriate quarantine period has been reached or a negative COVID test and/or doctors note has been provided. COVID-19 exposure policy

If there is a case of COVIDS-19 exposure the program will be closed for 5 days for any exposure regardless of masks or vaccine status. Children and Facilitators must all test negative on day 5 for program to reopen on day 6 or 7.

*NO REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR ANY CLOSURES DUE TO EXPOSURE OF COVID-19, OR THE DURATION OF PROGRAM BEING CLOSED DUE TO EXPOSURE.

WCNS Health and wellness policies

Please do not bring your child to school if they are displaying sickness or has a fever. Please respect the staffs’ judgement when they determine that a child should not attend because of sickness. These limits are designed to help sick children recover and to avoid the spread of disease. Lethargy, diarrhea, fever and persistent cough may all be symptoms of illness and it is our policy to isolate children showing such symptoms. Parents or persons named on emergency contact form, need to pick up their child promptly if he/she is ill.

We must exclude from care any child:

*Who has reportable illness or condition that is contagious; (Parents must inform us within 24
hours if their child has a contagious disease.)

*Who has vomited two or more times within the past 24 hours;

*Who has has any abnormally loose stools (diarrhea) in the past 24 hours;

*Who has contagious conjunctivitis or pus draining from the eye (pink eye).

*With Chicken Pox until the child is no longer infectious or until the lesions are crusted over.

*Who requires more care than our staff can provide without compromising the health and safety
of the other children in care.

*Who has a 100 degree temperature or above before fever reducing medication is given.

*Who has unexplained lethargy and is unable to participate in all regular activities of the day.

*Whose temperature has not been below 100 degress for 24 hours;

*Who has an undiagnosed rash or a rash attribute to a contagious illness or condition.

*If children are exposed or have have a contagious reportable disease, this will be reported to all parents in the form of a sick note/email.
